Phyllis Strupp has been part of the Episcopalian faith community since 1993. Her own spiritual journey has included a Roman Catholic upbringing and over 20 years outside organized religion. In May 2002, she graduated from the international Education for Ministry (EFM) Program of the University of the South School of Theology, Sewanee, Tennessee. Since September 2000, she has also served as a mentor in the EFM Program. She holds an MBA in Finance from the Columbia Graduate School of Business and has worked in the financial services industry since 1986. She moved to the Sonoran Desert from Princeton, New Jersey, with her husband Peter in March 1997.
