The Cominencement of all Saving Blessings,
Hag. ii. 19.- From this day will I bless you.

The words being confidered in their connection, divided and explained,

and the spiritual meaning contained in them given in a doctrinal

propofition, the following topics are discussed, viz. 1. What this fpiritual temple is,

The verse being divided and explained, and the former part of it opened

up at sume lengih, and applied, two doctrines are raised, and prosecuted from the latter part thereof,—who loved me, and gave bimself for me. The Firft i', " "The love of Christ, manifested in the word, is to sinners, is a giving love." Fiom this ubservation the following

heads of method are handled, viž. 1. The doctrine illustrated by a chain of instances, 2. The truth of it confirmed by an induction of particulars, 105 3. A succinct application of the whole subject, The Second doctrine is, " That it is the property of true faith to en" tertain the giving love of Christ, revealed in the gospel, with a
