5. To thee, dear Lord, our flesh and soul

We joyfully resign:
Bless'd Jesus, take us for thy own,

For we are doubly thine.
6. Thine honour shall forever be

The busines of our days.
For ever shall our thankful tongues,
Speak thy deserved praise.

Hymn 88. P. M.

Lift up your hearts, lift up your voice,

Rejoice aloud, ye saints, rejoice.
2. Rejoice, the Saviour reigns,

The God of truth and love;
When he had purg'd our stains,

He took his seat above;
Lift up, &c.
3. His kingdom cannot fail,

· He rules o’er earth and heav'n;
The keys of death and hell

Are to our Jesus given:
Lift up, &c.
4. He all his foes shall quell,

Shall all our sins destroy,
And every bogom swell

With pure seraphic joy ;
Lift up, &c. .
5. Rejoice in glorious hope,

Jesus, the Judge, shall come,
And take his servants up

To their eternal home;
We soon shall hear th' Archangel's voice,
The trump of God shall sound, rejoice!

And harps of sweeter sound.
3. These are the prayers of the saints,

And these the hymns they raise: - Jesus is kind to our complaints,

He loves to hear our praise. 4. Now to the Lamb that once was slain,

Be endless blessings paid; Salvation, glory, joy, remain

Forever on thy head.
5. Thou hast redeem'd our souls with blood,

Hast set the pris’ners free,
Hast made us kings and priests to God,

And we shall reign with thee.
6. The worlds of nature and of grace

Are put beneath thy power; Then shorten these delaying days,

And bring the promis'd hour.
