Whereas I am informed that many of his Majefty's deluded fubjects of the neighbouring provinces, labouring under wounds and divers diforders, are dispersed in the adjacent woods and parishes, and in great danger of perifhing for want of proper affiftance: all captains and other officers of militia are hereby commanded to make diligent search for all fuch diftreffed perfons, and afford them all neceffary relief; and convey them to the General Hospital, where proper care fhall be taken of them; all reasonable expences which may be incurred in complying with this order shall be repaid by the Receiver General. And left a consciousness of paft offences fhould deter those miserable wretches from receiving that affiftance which their diftreffed fituation may require, I hereby make known to them, that as soon as their health is restored they shall have free liberty to return to their refpective provinces.
