Thomas Baker thought that the edition printed in 1554, being in the time of Cardinal Pole, and before the Council of Trent broke up, was probably the last of its kind in England.

Mr. Maskell says that all three editions even to paper and catchwords, that only by Kingston and Sutton, 1554, are so alike a careful comparison can detect the difference. They are 1. 'Londini, Kingston et Henricus Sutton impress,' (colophon.) 2. Londini, recenter impressum,' (title.) 3. 'Londini, noviter impressum,' (title.)

The Douay editions of 1604 and 1610 follow a different arrangement, and omit all after the Offices of Benediction.
