A Scholarship, of the annual value of £50, presented by Miss Walker, of Yaralla, will be given in Lent Term, on similar terms to the Walker Exhibition (vide below), excepting that it is not necessarily confined to a first year Student. Walker, for four years, given to the students who on entering the College showed evidence of the highest attainments, provided that no student should be eligible for the Exhibition unless she should make it appear to the satisfaction of the Principal that she could not without such assistance pay the expenses of residence in the College. 1892-Harker, Constance E. 1893-Montefiore, H. A Prize of Books (presented by the Council of the Alliance Française) awarded to the Student of the College who showed the greatest knowledge of the French language. Any Student of any year to be at liberty to compete. The place of Students in the examinations of their respective years at the University to have a share in determining the result, but the award finally decided by an oral examination held at the College. 1900-White, M.
