questions, which have been found very useful in cxa. mining the progress of pupils. What the Editor particubarly recommends is, that the scholar be directed, after he has once gone through the bcok, to write answers to the questions in his ozun words. Exercises of this nature will
improve him in the knowledge of Geography, and be no i mean introduction to the art of composition. +
To the problems on the Globe, a variety of exercises is added, which will be found of great utility to the pupil, and save much time to the preceptor.
