This Bible, has yet been ascertained. A copy of this evidently of foreign workmanship, was presumed edition, but wanting the title, printed by Grafton and Whitchurch either was in the library of S. Ewer of Hackney, at Hamburgh, Lubec, Malborow, or Paris. sold by Sotheby, Nov. 24, 1808]. It varies but little from Tyndale's and Coverdale's translation; and the few emen(TAVERNER). The most sadations and additions which it contains cred Bible, translated into Englyshe were supplied by John Rogers (the first and newly recognised with great dimartyr in Queen Mary's reign), who super-ligence after most faythful exemintended the publication, assuming the name of Matthew.
