portunities of representing to the Galician Junta, the Danger to which fo important a Force had become exposed; urging the Expediency of detaching fuch Part as were in a State for Removal, and of preparing the Remainder for eventual Destruction.

But the Junta, though ever hearing me with Attention, feemed uniformly confident of the Security of Ferrol, fometimes intimating that if it actually fhould be attacked, the Crews of the Ships of War would be necessary to its Protection.
