Governors' messages, 1922

Rhode Island-Gov. San Souci recommends that the state accept the provisions of the law offering federal aid for state roads and provide for funds equal to the allotment due Rhode Island.

Governors' messages, 1922 Mississippi-Gov. Russell recommends that the state highway engineer and the Highway commission be empowered to outline a complete highway system covering the entire state.

New Jersey-Gov. Edwards recommends the incorporation in the state highway system of Sylvan avenue and the Boulevard in the borough of Englewood Cliffs, Tenafly and Alpine, in Bergen county, and the improvement of said road so as to furnish a ready means of access to the Interstate park. Virginia-Gov. Davis recommends the appointment of a legislative committee to investigate the affairs of the State highway department, as requested by the commissioner of highways, and to report as early as possible, during the present session of the General assembly, so that the benefit of the report may be had in the legislation that may be enacted having to do with the state highway system.
