For bequeathing real and personal Estate to an Individual.

I, A. B. do publish and declare this to be my last Will and Testament. I give and devise all my real and personal estate to C. D. his heirs, executors, administrators, and assigns. And I appoint the said C. D. executor of my Will.

Another Form, for btqueathing real and personal Property, to a Wife, fur her life, and after her death, to Children.

I, A. B. do publish, itc. . I give and

devise all my real Estate to C. D. and his heirs; iti trust to sell the same; his or their receipts to be good discharges to a purchaser. And I bequeath my personal Estate to the said C. D. his Executors and Administrators; in trust to conconvert the whole into money. And I direct the said C. D. to stand possessed of the produce of my real ami personal Estate; in trust to pay my debts, funeral, and testamentary expences, and to place the residue out at interest, upon government or real securities at his discretion; and to pay the interest thereof to my wife for her life, and alter her decease to divide the principal and interest equally amongst all my children. And I appoint, &c.

Another Form for disposing of personal Property to a Wtfe ana Children.

I, A. B. do publish, &c. * I give to my

'Wife all my furniture and effects in my dwelling house. And also the sum of one hundred pounds. All the residue of my personal estate I give to my Son R. and my daughter C. equally between them. And 1 appoint my son executor of my Will.

N. B. Wills of real Estate require three witnesses. Wills of personalty are usually attested, but this is not absolutely necessary. In devising real estate, where it is meant to confer an absolute interest, the word " heirs" is requisite. A seal is also generally used, but is not essential. In bequeathing property to a religious object, it should be assigned absolutely to an individual, with instruction to apply it as a third person. A. £. shall advise.
