Sobre el autor (1997)

Bill Bissett was born in Halifax, Nova Scotia in 1939. After moving to Vancouver in 1958, he became a poet, exploring the medium of concrete poetry, a painter and performance artist. During the 1960's, he started blewointment press, which became part of the counter-culture movement in Canada. Bissett's style is anti-conventional and ranges across various media. Drawings and the creative use of page space are essential to his works, and he has ventured into hypertext with in th whirlwind. Bill Bissett has written over 60 published collections and was the winner of the Dorothy Livesay Poetry Prize at the 1993 B.C. Book Prizes, for inkorrect thots.
