FROM pole to pole, let others roam,
2 JESUS, who on his glorious throne
3 His grace and mercy fix my love,
4 His word of promise is my food, .... I
Thus daily is my strength renew'd, ́ ́
5 For him, I count as gain each loss, Him, though despis'd, I'll own; Well may I glory in his cross, prepares my crown!

Unto you, therefore, which believe, he is precious.1 PETER i. 7.
JESUS, I love thy charming name,

MOST precious name of all above,
Jesus, who can resist thy love,

5 Let others on their works rely,

3 Dear name! the rock on which I build ; My shield and hiding-place,
My never-failing treas'ry, fill'd
4 By thee my prayers acceptance gain, Although with sin defil'd;
Satan accuses me in vain,
5 JESUS! my Shepherd, Husband, Friend,
6 Weak is the effort of my heart,
68. Precious to his People. 7—6—8.
But God forbid that I should glory save in the cross of our LORD JESUS CHRIST, by whom the world is crucified unto me, and I unto the world.-GAL. vi. 14.
VAIN, delusive world adieu,
With all of creature good!
Who bought me with his blood;
I'd trample on thy wealth and pride;
2 Other knowledge is but vain,
3 [Here will I set up my rest; O may my wand'ring heart From the haven of his breast
No more henceforth depart ;
