Whitehall, January 2, 1819.

IS Royal Highness the Prince Regent hath been pleased, in the name and on the behalf of His Majesty, to grant unto Sir Thomas- Francis Fremantle, Knight Grand Cross of the Most Honourable Military Order of the Bath; Knight Grand Cross of the Royal Hanoverian Guelphic Order ; Knight Commander of the Imperial Military Order of Maria Theresa of Austria; aud Rear Admiral of the Red Squadron of His Majesty's Fleet, His Majesty's royal licence and permission, that he may accept and wear the insignia of a Knight Grand Cross of the Royal Sicilian Military Order of Saint Ferdinand and of Merit, which His Majesty Ferdi mand the Fourth, King of the Two Sicilies, hath been pleased to confer upon the said Rear Admirai, as a mark of His royal approbation of his active and distinguished services before the enemy while commanding a squadron of His Majesty's ships in the Adriatic during the late war:

And His Royal Highness hath been, further pleased to command, that the said royal concession and declaration be registered in His Majesty's College of Arms.
