X.-ENGLISH VERSE.

A Medal of the value of £10 is given by the University for the best composition in English Verse. The competition for this Medal is open to all Undergraduates and Bachelors of Arts of not more than two years' standing.

XI.-UNIVERSITY PRIZE FOR PHYSIOGRAPHY.

A University Prize of the value of £5 is awarded to the student of the First Year who passes the best Class Examination in Physiography, if of sufficient merit.

XII.-UNIVERSITY PRIZES AT PUBLIC EXAMINATIONS.

Prizes of £20 and £10 were appropriated annually by the Senate until the year 1894 for the greatest proficients amongst the male candidates at the Senior and Junior Public Examinations. A Prize of £5 is now offered for competition amongst the greatest proficients in the Junior Examination, the Prize for Seniors being withdrawn. The limit of age for Juniors is
