The competition for this Medal is open to all Bachelors of Arts of not more than two years' standing. Subject for 1908-9—“A critical examination of current theories of the nature of Truth." The BEAUCHAMP Prize-£25. Awarded for an Essay upon some subject of literary or historical interest. The competition is open to all Undergraduates and Graduates. of not more than twenty-five Terms' standing from Matriculation. (See page 256.) The exercises for these Prizes, which must not be in the handwriting of the author, must be sent to the Registrar before the first day of Lent Term, 1909. [It is intended that this subject shall be considered primarily as a question of general and local politics, but at the same time in the light of such technical knowledge as may be available to a layman.
