The Works of Lord Byron, Volumen 2J. Murray, 1899 - 544 páginas John Murray, Lord Byron's long-time publisher, released a 13-volume set of "The Works of Lord Byron" in the late 19th century. The poetry volumes, of which there are seven, were edited byErnest Hartley Coleridge, grandson of Romantic poet and Byron contemporary, Samuel Taylor Coleridge. The letters and journals were edited in another six volumes by Rowland Prothero. Volume two of poetry contains "Childe Harold's Pilgrimage" and historical notes by Byron's close friend, John Cam Hobhouse, who was with him on their Grand Tour of Europe after which Byron wrote "Childe Harold." |
