JOHN SAWBRIDGE, esq. of Olantigh, alderman of London, and lord mayor 1775. In 1768 he was elected M. P. for the borough of Hythe, and in the three successive parliaments, returned by the City of London. He m. 1st, 15th November, 1763, Mary-Diana, daughter of Sir Orlando Bridgeman, bart. by whom, who d. 28th January, 1764, he had no issue, and 2ndly, in June, 1766, Anne, daughter of Sir William Stephenson, knt. by whom he had three sons and one daughter. ROCHE, DAVID, esq. of Carass, in the county of Limerick, and of Barnetick, in Clare, b. 19th January, 1791, m. 14th February, 1825, Frances, daughter of John Ormsby Vandeleur, esq. of Maddinstown, in the county of Kildare, Colonel of the 5th Dragoon Guards, and has issue,

Mr. Roche, who succeeded his father 27th March, 1830, is a magistrate for the county, and member of Parliament for the city, of Limerick.

Lineage.

This family of ROCHE was settled at Li- GEORGE ROCHE, esq. of Limerick (supmerick from a very early period.
