Sobre el autor (1972)

David Ben-Gurion (1886-1973) was born in Russian Poland. At the age of fourteen, he and his friends formed a Zionist youth club, and at twenty he went to Palestine to work the land as a pioneer. He helped to organize Bar Giora, a defense group of Jewish settlers. An ardent Zionist, Ben-Gurion worked long and hard for the establishment of the State of Israel. He served as prime minister from 1948 to 1953 and again from 1955 to 1963.
