MEMORIAL

The PRESIDING OFFICER (Mr. WILLIAMS of New Jersey in the chair) laid before the Senate the message yesterday received from the House of Representatives, announcing its disagreement to the amendment of the Senate to the bill (H.R. 11131) to authorize certain construction at military installations, and for other purposes, and asking a conference with the Senate thereon.

On motion by Mr. RUSSELL, Resolved, That the Senate insist upon its amendment to the said bill, disagreed to by the House of Representatives, and agree to the conference asked by the House on the disagreeing votes of the two Houses thereon.
