During the month of September there were received at the Library, by purchase, 1,130 volumes and 495 pamphlets; by gift, 956 volumes and 3,688 pamphlets; and by exchange, 81 volumes and 669 pamphlets, making a total of 2,167 volumes and 4,852 pamphlets. There were catalogued 2,825 volumes and 1,836 pamphlets; the number of cards written was 3,426, and of slips for the copying machine 2,819; from the latter were received 12,706 cards.
