EEP in the Duft, before thy Throne,

; Great God! we own th’ unhappy Name, Whence sprung our Nature and our Shame.

But whilst our Spirits fill'd with Awe,
Behold the Terrors of thy Law :
We fing the Honours of thy Grace,
That sent to save our ruin'd Race.

We fing thine everlasting Son
Who jo n’d our Nature to his own :
Adam the second from the Dust, I
Raises the Ruins of the First.

IV.
Where Sin did reign, and Death abound,
There have the Sons of Adam found
Ahounding Life ; 7 here glorious Grace
Reigns thro the LORD OUR RIGHTEOUSNESS !

Where God appoints to hear !

Their constant Service there !

They praise CHRIST (till ;
And happy they
That love the Way
To Zion's Hill!

They go from Strength to Strength,
Through this dark Vale of Tears ;
'Till each arrives at length,
Till each in Heav'n appears.

O glorious Seat
of God our King !
LORD, thither bring
Our willing Feet !

The LORD his People loves :
His Hand no Good withholds

From

From those his Heart approves,
From * praying + humble Souls,

Thrice happy he,
O God of Hofts,
Whofe Spirit trusts
Alone in Thee !

JESUS CHRIST, our Joy and Peace,
Let our Praise to Him be giv'n,
High at God's Right-hand in Hear'n !

Master, see! to Thee we bow,
Thou art LORD, and only Thou ;
Thou the blessed Virgin's Seed,
Glory of thy Church, and Head.

III.
Thee the Angels ceaseless fing,
Thee we praise, our Priest, our King ;
Worthy is thy Name of Praise,
Full of Glory; full of Grace.

IV.
Thou hast the glad Tidings brought
Of Salvation by Thee wrought ;
Wrought for all thy Church! and we
Worship in their Company.

Paschal Lamb by God apppointed,

All our Sins were on Thee laid !
By Almighty Love appointed,

Thou hast full Atonement made :
Ev'ry + Sin may be forgiv'n

Thro' the Virtue of thy Blood,
Open'd is the Ga'e of Heav'n, $
Peace is made 'twixt Man and God.

III.
Jesus Hail ! enthron'u in Glory,

There forever to abide !
All the heav'nly Hosts adore Thee

Help, to chaunt IMMANUEL's Praise.

The Saviour of Mankind,
Our thankful Hearts, in solemn Lays,
