Editorial de Belgrano, 1989 - 306 páginas
A study of the German emigration to Argentina during the Nazi period, with reference to both political and Jewish refugees. Describes Nazi anti-Jewish ideology and policy, and the anti-Jewish legislation and violent measures which resulted in mass emigration. Discusses Argentina's immigration policy: on November 1938 it claimed that it had a large Jewish population and it limited immigration to farm-related professions and capital influx, subject to the country's capacity for "assimilation." Refers, also, to nationalist antisemitic Argentinian organizations and the press (e.g. "Bandera Argentina" and "Crisol"), and to ethnic Germans in Argentina who adhered to the Nazi Party and one of their antisemitic publications, "Die Wacht."
